FYDP ideas meeting 02/09/22

Notes:

• Jorge talked about his mechanical and electrical work on a go kart during his coop term at the Ideas Clinic. His supervisor Chris recommended a project that Professor Azad and his lab were working on involving a gokart as a potential FYDP project. Hence, we decided to contact Professor Azad to arrange a meeting to discuss working with him and his lab.

• We discussed different ideas and problems for the FYPD including research involving the gokart, autonomous vehicles, perception and navigation. Making the physical drawing process more comfortable and ergonomic by improving existing drawing boards. Making the supply chain process more efficient via automation of cranes and package handling/movement.

• Riyad pitched Trello as a potential project management tool that can be used for creating and tracking tickets for work and deadline management.

• We are keeping in mind the possibility of working as a 3-person group but also looking out for a 4th member

• Talked about setting up a simple website, quick and easy way to store log and meeting notes

• Jorge will send an introductory email to the professor introducing us and asking for more details about the project

• Talked about project management software Trello, I do not think we can store documents in Trello, but what we can do is create the documents in one drive and provide the links in Trello, Trello invite link here:
